Cancel Your Appointment
Cancel through the NHS App
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else.

GP appointment? Don't need it? Cancel it!
We know people sometimes forget — and cancelling GP appointments is often overlooked. If you no longer need your appointment, please remember to cancel it so someone else can use the slot.
How to Cancel an Appointment
- Call the dedicated appointment line: 01903 851073
- Use the NHS App or Patient Access
- Cancel online
Why Cancel?
Each month, around 230 appointments are missed due to patients not attending or forgetting to cancel. When you don’t attend, you prevent someone else from getting the care they need.
Important Notes on Cancellations
- Cancellations made less than 2 hours before your appointment will be recorded as a Did Not Attend (DNA).
- If you miss an appointment without cancelling, you will receive an informal warning letter or email.
- On the third missed appointment within 12 months, the practice will review your case. A decision may be made to remove you from the practice list, and you will receive a formal warning letter.
Thank you for helping us make appointments available to everyone who needs them.
